Solved cant start game(build 14 beta 3)

Sorry if in bad thread, im new to forum.
My problem is that when i start installed mod (installed base game then mod) i got runtime error with abnormal program termination
my error.log:

COMPILE ERROR - file: sea_ai\sea.c; line: 146
function LanguageCloseFile(args:0) doesnt accept 1 arguments
 
Installed update but it didnt helped, uploaded logs:

Seems to me like a bad download/install.

Try redownloading the part 2 from moddb again.
What version of windows are you using etc?
 
Indeed I've seen that message before, but I think it was due to a corrupted download. It is definitely an incorrect installation.
 
Im using xp service pack 3, part 2 seems ok (weight seems correct and theres no errors in instalation or extracting in winrar) but i guess ill try to redownload it then, if u think of something else lemme know :p
 
I'm trying the latest installer etc but there were several problems at start:

errorlog:

COMPILE ERROR - file: interface\kam_shipberthing_ship.c; line: 682

Undeclared identifier: TreasureFleet

I outcommented the 2 first but don't know about the 3:rd a "bool"?

Jack, what was the previous modpack version you had installed? Was it one from before or after the 29th of September?
Sounds to me like you have a combination of old and new files in your game. :shock
 
Did you select mainfiles during the installation?
This looks to me link older files...

It worked for me.:D I thought I remember reading some posts saying that the installer won't read the main files properly if the extension is not 7zip. :shrug:checklist
Oh well, then its best then to re-download the main archive and the latest installer.
 
Well, the file does need to be called exactly "b14_beta3_full.7z" . But it will give an error message and tell you so if it doesn't.
However, the 7-Zip extractor is included in the installer EXE itself, so you do not need to have it installed.
 
Would be a bit of a crappy installation process otherwise, wouldn't it? I don't like crappy installation processes. ;)
 
OK, it seems that somehow the archive was damaged, redownloaded and it works, thanks for help, finally something new in PoC, finished base game like 10 times arleady xd

The installer was new but the modpack was from before...:oops:

My computer is about to say thank you goodbye after 10 years so I have to get a new one before downloading
anything big. :modding
