edit: I try this again: Start in Havana Town and I walk through this door to the Port Royale jungle and I arrived Rocky Shore, so sure I´m in Jamaica and not in Cuba.

But and now listen: Bevor I went from Cuba to Jamaica, I looked shortly in the dungeon on Havana. If I don´t do this, the door works correct! So the dungeon makes the problem? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />
 
memory.mp = no effect

Also it seems in the world map the freezing moments are when the log says "Food qty left 123 for 19082 days whatever". Everytime theres a switch in days it lags. Is there a way to turn off logging?

I also found this strange bug. When I go into the menu to change some settings in the build settings tab and I return ingame. I cannot interact with doors or fast travel. I get a menu full of bogus commands that shouldn't be there. Such as TALK/LOOT/PLACE ITEM/GRAB ITEM/OPEN/TORN SAILS/WHITE SAILS/SHIP/PORT etc.
 
I do also have some lag on the change of days on the worldmap, but it's not too bad and my computer is a lot less good than yours.
The options menu problem is indeed confirmed. I recommend you don't change your options while ingame; tweak the options first, then start a new game.

Also I try to capture Thurk , after I killed already all it were ending with: closed door and no way out! Only sailing away are possible.

I think it is an incorrect internet-translation. Most French people aren't really good at speaking English (no offence meant here), sadly enough, most of the translating programs aren't that good at translating.

I've a problem with quest book (I used B14A9Light + little patch):

when I take a random mission (ship escort, trade mission & capture pirate) the new mission is not added in the quest book, and the description of the last mission is deleted <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

I didn't notice this with Build14A8.5 + patch 2

I suspect it might have to do with the Real Caribbean influence that doesn't work right yet for those quests. But I'm not sure.
When you complete the quest, do your other questbook entries go back to normal?
That's what I seem to have noticed when I did a trader escort quest.
 
About J.R > he just made a wrong formulation, by "spending" the build mod in french, he ment, " how to use the french translation?", or, more clearly (i think) "how to change the game language to french?".

At J.R > You should find what you need in the "options" menu, but pay attention, most of this translation is uncomplete concerning Build 14, but concerning Build 13 i guess it's ok
 
It is indeed VERY incomplete and could cause major bugs. Actually, I don't recommend anyone uses any of the translations.
The Russian one is probably best, but even that one's not been updated for a year or so, I think. It was only Maximus who worked on that.

I have a strange problem with the sound when you fire the cannons, the voice that 'shout' to fire the cannons rapidly loops and the graphics locks, this lasts about a second but is extremely annoying, i dont have such 'bug' when using the build 13 final. I already reinstaled the game 3 times and this issue continues, if anyone have a clue how to solve this...

I'm almost sure that Build14A8.5 didn't have this problem. I'm absolutely sure that Build14A8 didn't have.
Random quest aren't shows also when are finished. Main quest, that are without description, are restored when are finished.

I also have the problem of pirate hunting quests not showing up in the questbook.

just DL the build and I get white box where the pointer should be and some floating boxes up at the top on the main menu,when going through missions ship thumbs missing and some pirate thumbs when it starts it kicks out to the main menu and then get a black screen with just the date the pirate picture..thats all.I had build 13 and then this build on top..with the patch followed the directions to the letter..i noticed a lot of file not found and misssing in the run bat window. ugg ill wait a day or 2 then back to build 13..dont you hate this part <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />o)
 
OK update...I reinstalled POTC and build 13 then the 14 its working now so sometimes a fresh start is best ...too bad i lost my 5.000.000 in gold but .......
 
Game with Build 14 Alpha 9 and little Patch

After capture a ship: The Captain take the chance to get my Officer, but after this I lost him and the Ship also.
