I've already got a fix for that one but haven't posted it yet. It affects the sound and mouse sensitivity sliders.

I have no idea why the game is so messed up after changing options, but I've noticed it too. Probably something to do with how the options screen resets the keyboard. I removed most instances of that and things worked a lot better. The code makes it so you can hold down the control key to make numbers advance faster when changing a value.

It's not used for the sliders. It's used in the advanced options that set the buildsettings, the last option at the bottom of the screen. Some of the options use numbers, and that code makes it easier to make larger changes to the numbers.

Maybe we should be using sliders for those numbers as well rather than keyboard accelerators.

I get very often the problem, after capture and kill the captain, it´s no way to loot the corpse. You see the "sea-button" und you can turn around, but the corpse is not lootable. (Nothing to do with the patch, also before).

You've already got all his stuff in that case. Check the log text in the upper left. It's usually a fair bit of gold.

1. Ship berthing. Text looks waird.

2. Jamaica - Rocky Shore: If you stay there, no way to sail away, only by feet to the jungle. After you arrive the town, the ships are suddenly in the port.

- Sail interface problem confirmed; I had the same thing happen. The interface works for some sails, but not all. Needs to be looked into.
- Escalated battleship: Some ships still miss their interface pictures. Needs to be looked into.

- Are you sure you move from Cuba to the Jamaica jungle? Could it be that it's misnamed, but you're still on Cuba?
- Kralendijk and Cayman character animation problems found and solved.

Hello, let me introduce myself. I'm Ravage, one of the build mod users out there :p. I'm also known as Enfield on bfpirates.com ..

I really like the new build and all that, but I had to reinstall Build 13 because Build 14 Alpha 9 makes my game run choppy. Every keystroke makes me lag. And my machine can easily take this game. Also during boarding parties the lag becomes immense and the game crashes.

Intel Q6600 2.4 QUADCORE
3Gigs of RAM. (1 removed using XP)
8800GTS 512 MB
Soundblaster Card

Build 13 runs fine and so do all other games I have on my computer. What could be causing this?
 
Do you have a memory.mp file in your main game folder? If so, delete it and try again.
