Somthing else I've noticed, the finding Daniel Greene quest is still open, As weel as the save quest. And after the battle to take redmond
Daniel does not rejoin the party.

Try removing ""Manowar_gub"

I have meet her in Redmond after the battle, but she does not rejoin with me, and then runs off to the prison. Upon entering the prison she does not rejoin the party and you cannot communicate with her.
And Clement just cowers in his cell. this is why I'm flumoxed.
 
Solved xD:

Changed ship, officers, and applied the latest update.
and away she goes, don't know which one actually worked, but it did.
Incidentally, you're all gonna be famous.
I do a show on the local Radio here, and I'm doing a counter offensive
on negative press against computer gaming and it's perils.
It's just this kind of support and encouragement the likes of everybody here gives that know one outside the dedicated gamers knows off. And you learn stuff.

hello all im new xD:: lol :d: erm and just downloaded this great mod really guys 10/10 :no just a few problems with it

1: the water is all warped
2: is there a way to select a ship to start with because the Manowar would be nice
3: when you skip to somewhere with that Modhelper thing you dont have a ship which means that you kinda stuck on that little island like jack sparrow when he got put on that diddy island.

bug with the strange things in the archipelago quest

Was playin the above quest today and i got as far as giving the letter to the priest on Isla Mule, he asks me 2 goto oxbay and escprt a ship back to isla mule. When i get near oxbay, the man shouts land ahoy and i hit space bar, the sea loads but on that loading screen, once its loaded for a bit, the funny wee spinny thing freezes as does the game, i have to `ctrl-alt`-delete out of it and start agen xD:. Supose this means i wont be able to goto oxbay at all now, which means i cant finnish the main quest. ta for any help, great build guys/gals it really has put the fun back into PotC.

FredBob made a couple of rum smugglin' runs tew Douwesan from Redmond, an' den decided tew smunggle paprika tew Oxbay! But me game crashed upon attmptin' tew land at Oxbay! Now Fred Bob DID be startin' de Main Quest by visitin' Gov. Silehard on Redmond, but had not persued it any further. :no

I d/l the newest update yesterday and I played the Animist quest today, works fine now. I already captured the Frigate in my game. xD:
 
A few bugs that I encountered yesterday:

-After destroying the "Black Pearl", the game didn't play the cut scene where the "Black Pearl" sunks into the sea. I just played the ending credits.

-After destroying the "Black Pearl" I went to the pirates island (Q.Costillas) and talked to the diplomat in order to restore my English relations. However, after he said he's price and I accepted it, game crashed to "illegal operation" window.


I also have a few questions:

1. Is there any way to release the sword that is equipped. I can release the pistol, but not the sword (menu option is gray).

2. Some rare times I found a dead bird in treasure chest. Does this affect somehow/is it somekind of special item?

And finally some stupid questions xD:: :

Did I did the right thing during the install, when I selected the "European version" AND the "Localized files"? In my game cd is a text "English version", so is this a same as European version.

Yep, I had exactly the same scenario. I have tried twice to restore good relations with England in Quebradas Costillas, before finishing the main quest and after it. It crashed both times. I'll try to generate a report now.

your character needs a sword to work in the game .....

I think its the same, or maybee the english/american is the same.
If the cd or box have a UBI SOFT icon then its EU or english if not its american.
