Cheers, well, at first we were full of bravado, and thought yeeeah, we'll do it...but man, it's been the most crazy thing I've ever, ever done....total madness giving up your job to do it, but once we'd jumped overboard, we had two choices, sink or swim...and we've been close to both for over a year... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

But yeah, we've done it, it's playing real nice, it looks cool , the deal is in place so the demo should be seem by plenty of people, so all we can do now is hope we get good reviews and people like it..

pinned this cause gotta tell u mates. Played every Pirate game ever made, and enjoyed most of them. Play'n against AI ships is easy mode for me. Luv a challenge and Buccaneers delivers as I was involved with beta test.. Think about it. AI ships or play'n against a live players. Choice of ship and teamwork to win a map and sink'n a live player= Wahoo! Course this just be me humble opinion <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/buds.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":drunk" border="0" alt="buds.gif" />
 
Yeah, the A.I. ships are spot on now.... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

We've had a guy in Thailand who's been working purely on the A.I. for what must be...ooooh, 6 months, maybe a bit longer...They're quite complicated, as have to know where they are, know where land is, know where you are etc. but also when they get close, have to peel off to get a broadside in, try to stay along side you, take evasive action if you're on one...that kind of thing. Also, the Merchant ships in the game will try and keep out of your way, but will open fire if they have to, that kind of thing...Pretty complicated stuff, but w're really happy with them...

They actually completely make the single player game.....they're very cool <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="8)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

Easiest way to let everybody know would probably be an update to the main page, but none of the regular members can edit it - I think just Keith and William can, and they're both on extended extended sabbaticals. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/urgh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":urgh" border="0" alt="urgh.gif" />

I'd be trying it out, but the fan on me graphics card gave out, so no gaming for me until I get a replacement. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

Gratz Stickman Crew, Know ye werked yer butts off to get final release done by December 5.
