But by "both ships" you mean that your boarders and the enemy appear on both ships fighting each other, right?
What we want is the enemy on their ship and we on ours, at the start of combat.

2 ship boarding decks I had two of my officers on my ship figting enemy crew one opponent each and rest of crew is on enemy ship doing same.I think this good setup as gives you a choice to help officers or board enemy ship.I would assume that if you have no officers assigned there would be crewmembers on both ships. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
