black screen

Hi having trouble loading build 14-9..when i start new game all i get is a black screen..been looking in the forum but can not find an answer was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it..it installed alright on top of build 13 final ????

Are you sure you followed the instructions and installed:
1) Build 13 FINAL
2) Build 14 Alpha 9 Full
3) Build 14 Alpha 9.5

i got a black screen problem too in the JS storline... after i find cortez's treasure... barbossa tells me to sail to cayman under the portugal flag... when i do as he says ater the world map screen a black screen is coming... can't continue the quests...

Please have a look at <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?showtopic=13407" target="_blank">this thread</a> and see if the code modifications suggested there do any good.
