Better sounding P!G music

Nathan gave me a good idea, using the pirates! gold music for potc. I loaded the p!g mid's into my roland keyboard, and recorded how it sounds, well it sounds a litle better than the original, oldschool midis. If anyone interested i will upload it onto the ftp (if it is possible right now). You mean you played the midis and recorded in wav format (or whatever can be converted to ogg)?
Sounds cool. What keyboard do you have?

Yes, i loaded into the keyboards memory, and played them, then recorded with soundforge. I got a Roland EXR-5s anyways.

Could you check into redoing the jailtune.ogg?

The volume fades in and out and then the music ends prematurely.

There are two problems.

The file does not play the length of the original.

Also, the volume (loudness) drops off for a section in the middle and then goes back to normal again.

Well the volume problem wasn't me, it was like this in the original mid file, only in the old version you couldn't hear that much difference. Anyways, i can make it like all the track is on the same volume. About the length. The same. It's the original length of the file, but i can make it start over, when it stops for let's say two, or three times, but after a while the music starts again. No it isn't. The file uploaded by Kell, just like the original from Pirates Gold that you can hear in game and through PGJuke, is longer.

That version however suffers from low volume throughout the file.

Anyway, forget it.

uh, really, i was wrong, the whole song is 1:25, and my version only 1 minute. That's the problem, right? I gonna do something about it. Thanks for pointing it out for me.
