Hi,
Just discovered this project and while strictly a landlubber in real life, have become very interested in "Man o' war" ships due to Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey-Maturin series. The "Hearts of Oak" videos look really incredible and my first thought was "hope the music is authentic and good!" -- so often good music takes a video game to a higher level of experience. So I'm interested in contributing/collaborating if/when it makes sense for the project.
I play traditional fiddle (mostly Irish, Appalachian "Old-time", French-Canadian, etc) and know a number of good musicians in my area (South-West PA, USA) that do all types of traditional and baroque music. I also have good enough recording gear and know-how to produce reasonably polished recordings. Here are a few examples from an ensemble with my wife (oboe, baroque oboe, Irish whistles) and a friend on guitar, from about 10 years back (I recorded/engineered and played fiddle):

With all the musicians willing to help, the ability to collaborate over great distances and with some good historically-informed direction, you could produce a soundtrack that would really add to the project. If I can help in some way, that would be great!
Best wishes for a successful project,
Rich
