ALL black sails????

Hey guys, I joined this kind of late (Today as a matter of fact)...I am so glad to see there are more people like me out there, I thought I was the only nut playing the game until 6 am when you have to be at work at 8.

I love all the mods you guys have done. You are a super talented bunch! I was just curious because I didnt see one out there.....Is there a Mod that can make ALL the sails black (not just the main sail with the logo). The ones I have just make the main sail black. I was wondering if that was possible, to make all of the sails black (on both sides). Please let me know if that is possible or if there is already one out there.

I'll look into it... should'nt be too hard, but then, I'm not sure where the sail texture info is kept.

Edit:

Umm, having found it, i'm fairly sure that it would turn ALL of the sails in the entire game black, which would sorta ruin the uniqueness of it... hmm...

Thanks Aardvark. The Only other Mod I saw with a sail other then the Main sail was a guy turned the "winged hour glass" sail all white. Its here in the postings somewhere.

Hey I'm busy experimentng making black sails and the black pearl.

So far I only found bad news, I can make the main sail a nice black one but changing the others would mean every ship in the game has black sails.

Cuz of this I don't see the point in making a better black sail, below was just a test

I wonder if there is a way to force the computer to distinguish the player''s flagship as different from the other ones graphically...

sail help

For some reason, my sail emblem displays not on the main sail...but on a sail at the back of the ship. Anybody else experience this? Anybody have any ideas on this?
