after i tried the russian version 1.4.1, though there r still many bugs, i found out some following improvements(difference from ptoc):

1. graphic is improved, boats with more details, and board fight with more details, overall texture details increased.

2. the lighting is much better now, you can see the some lightnings and lamps at night, waves became much bigger and tougher!!!!!

3. more details in explosion. the gun smoke looks much better now. different guns have different sounds.

4. more weapons and more ships and more guns and more upgrade options

5. more realistic, the guns may blow up.

7,collision at sea really works now, if you drive your ship to hit into another ship by 90 degrees, you get minimum demage and the other ship sinks. . especialy when u got a enhanced hull, it is very effective.

6. now you can add amor to your ship, it is effective to small projectiles.

brig become ultimate killing machine at sea, its got best combination of mobility and fire power.

the only thing sucks is the copper gun is not even usable..., high faulty rate at sea.after you fire it 3 -7 time, it blows up <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />

i will have pic later, now i having a brig haha.

and ships are lot bigger this time. i thought my frigate is huge.

but i should get the snapshot!!!

i've seen the lineship(army gunship, not the ultimate man of war yet) for the very first time(failed to capture it, LOL, no chance to crack it) .

wat can i say, the hull is so huge!!!!!!!!!wicked!!!!

pure fire power!!!

like the ships really stick with their class, a full upgraded war galleon or frigate can fight up to 6 brigs at the same time. and the number of sodiers is real important!

it is much bigger than it in ptoc!!!!! but i dont where to get a man of war... haha...

80 guns. and this is the most effective war machine you can have(good turn rate and speed), it's got most of its guns in lower postion of its body, that means it is hard to hit its guns, but to man of war, easy to trash its guns, it is so slow.

i use battleship and frigate as gurdian ships.and galleon is ideal for carrying cargos.

i personally prefer a fast covette or frigate.

but i think it's better to have some 19 century ships....like santissima trinidad (140 guns) and victoria(110 guns). <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

as it has the same play mode as potc, you dont have to understand russian to play it.

the missions are all the same: go where, do wat, all you need to know is where and wat. when you get enough experience, u can unlock some major missions.

im very unhappy about the trading system, you cant customized the amount of good.

about 40000 dollas with full crews

food 2500 per month

i razed some colonies, got heaps of money (with a single ship manowar).

battleship

about 37000 per month

food 1800 per month

all worthwhile,.....just bully the colonies.


single manowar can take out fort easily and with very little demage.

i personal prefer battleship, but battle ship is ugly.

and man of war is line ship first rate

102 80 66 46 for 4 kinds of navy ships

but i think 18th century ships looks lot better.
