Active Promotion and Recruiting on Other Sites

I think many fans of AC4 only got that game for the pirate side of things anyway, so I'm sure Hearts of Oak would appeal to them as a pure sailing/pirate game.
And since AC4 has such a large fanbase, it's definitely in our best interests to tell them about HoO. :onya

Suggestion: Can you rename that thread to "Hearts of Oak: Conquest of the Seas"?
I can imagine that a thread named "HOOCOTS" might not get many people to click on it. :facepalm
 
No option for it? Perhaps a Moderator there can do it for you?
 
I am also part of the Arma City Life III mod community.

And these days they are going to do allot of publicity videos for YouTube on the new content now that the mod is starting to move from beta.
They know of my attachment and involvement with PA! and HoO - And asked me 2 days ago if they could feature the HoO theme song in one of their upcoming Videos.

I said yes of course - as long as credentials are made correctly and that it clearly states that the music if from HoO.
There are allot of hobby programmers, 3D modelers and Texture artists in that community, so might light a spark in someone to check us out.

I will post the video here when it is done :)

I have also gotten some feedback from the Life Is Feudal community - (Which is a game I am composing music for) - and as I have HoO and links to our site on my signature, I have started to get a few interested people approach me in PM's.
I have diverted them all to our sites and explained how we work and so on, so we will see if any will be interested enough to make them selves known to us ;)

Hehehe well their Trailer maker is very good at using the music in contrast to the content of the movie - so I guess this is also what he is doing here.

I will be talking with him as well to see if he might be interested in helping creating a trailer later.

Haven't seen it posted in this thread (sorry if it already is) It seems like a good forum to target, from what I've gathered its quite a large gaming site they have forum categories for gaming and specific forum categories for various games, one of the categories I found was for Sea Dogs. Currently it has 300 members online and 42,000 guests.
 
Why not? More places = More coverage! Would you be willing to post about HoO there?
