Err, I think your ship may be a tad small. That skeleton is the size of a normal character in the game.
Perhaps you're out by a factor of 100 because of a centimetre/metre confusion in Maya?

ah yes, that was a problem, fixed now the coordinates for locators stays the same right? so I can copy the coordinates from the txt file made from the coordinates in cm to th e new gm file in meters? I mean that would make sense because both the object and the scale are scaled up by a factor of 100.

If you changed the working units from cm to metres as well as rescaling the ship, then I think the locator coordinates should be the same.
