Thanks a ton for the info, CJPJ! I´ll probably make two textures, a complete white one with all details for easy retexturing (if you play/mod IL sturmovik, you know what I mean) and based on that, a french colour scheme (with changes, though, but she´ll be recognisable as a french ship)

If not I can do it while I convert her over.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

With "make the mesh one-sided", do you mean that the faces should be one-sided? If so, Blender is able to do that. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

Couple o´Q´s:
-How well does the storm engine handle intersecting faces? I´d have to redo the bowsprit if the engine doesn´t allow that (not
a very pleasant thought <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> )
-Can I use materials (glass for the windows and lamps, gold for the decorations etc)?
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Black and white? No way, that frigate isn't an American design you know.
Give it the typical Black with yellow trim of the british navy, with red/copper underside.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Sorry, MM, no copper plating, just white paint from the keel to the waterline. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" />
Okay, guys, a question for ya:
Should the inside of the cabin be visible? It´d look good, thats for sure, but I´d have to spend at least another 2000 polies to model the interior, so its a performance vs "coolness" debate. Any suggestions?
