    I was farming the dungeon in Port Royale. That fighting is way easier than boarding ye, great tip! Also I tried the grenades I found there while boarding instead of the pistol. Blew my enemies mind :bounce:woot must say, having no cooldown on those things is a bit silly

    Aaaah ok, that might explain something. I thought all Blacksmiths would work the same. Since he would let me upgrade a bunch of blades till fine quality I thought it was a bug.

    Yes I totally agree :) that's why I think they should be a little better (marginally) since you can't get them otherwise and the better your relation with a faction is, the better the sword you get.
