    yeah i like this feature in the SLiB, good to have it in our mod too. the way theirs works is you can hire him (something determines whether they accept or not, maybe your rep/leadership, and it's only pirates who you can take on as officers... i don't see why, with a high enough rep/leadership...

    Rad: Spanish LoM, and I caught the MoW by waiting till someone attacked a town (the attackers always have a MoW) then trying repeatedly till I could board it and not have too many of my men slaughtered.     say... are you planning on using this ship as one of the sailing ships in the game or as a location?     There -is- one model that uses two different eye textures, but it`s the pirate guy wearing the bandana, with the long hair and scar over one eye. otherwise all the texture images have only one graphic for both eyes.

    I figured it out.. can't have a ship higher than your skill, one that saps your abilities; I got a class 4 ship and everything's fine. So now I just keep it around, assigned to one of my officers, and switch to it before entering a town so I'm not penalized with store prices and everything...
