Discovery of new places and or plants that weren't there in the original game, finding out who's Vanderdecken or how and where to find him, buying out...

    Hmnn..indeed the standard storyline is somewhat "bugged" regarding the "Master at Arms" officer case. I started a new game in the Standard Storyline and yes, removing an officer from his/her post does put him/her as a regular 'sailor'. I did however get an error.log this time. Agreed. Lol.

    Yhup. I renamed the file and the game was able to load it and the "bug" seems to be present in this particular save. It is very odd since any of my own does not do this even on a new game. Anyway, attached are my .log files from when I tried the "bugged" save. (No error.log)

    I apologize for not attaching my .log files but yes, that is one of the things I checked before downloading his save. It really is weird.

    @MrMister That is really weird. I don't follow how you said you've installed your game but it should not be even playable if you did something wrong. I tried your save but I guess it's not compatible with my game? I have the same version as yours so idk. @Pieter Boelen or anyone else knows...

    Hmnn..I don't know which version of the game you currently have but removing them from their post will definitely automatically puts them as "Master-at-Arms".

    Those are very interesting indeed. If you do plan to add these though, I suggest you put not only the Leadership skill for calculation but in combination with Luck or "sneak" as well. :D BUT as @Grey Roger has mentioned these should be activated when you're at a higher level, like say level 20...

    Aha! I forgot about that "options" file trick. Lol. I'll do that. I tried pressing F11 but that didn't help but we'll see if a fresh 'options' file will do the trick.

    I just downloaded and listened to all of that. That is AWESOME!!! The music is so clear and nice. It feels different just listening to it. There's a good calmness to it that eases me. :love
