Are you on a trade quest when this crash occurs? I am comparing your compile.log to mine and your crashes right when it looks for a Trade_Quest_Open in CommonQuestComplete. Can you go back to a save from when you first land?

Went to a save where I was still in battle, captured the same ships and so on, went to port-tavern-store and sold the cargo, didn't crash, just normal freezing for a few seconds.

Not good, that's a sign, that I need to get a new harddrive (or at least a better one) since ti's one's damadged, and I'm afraid, that the harddrive caused the crashes.

Uh ohh, a bad hard drive can corrupt the data on it leading to CTDs and a need to reinstall.

I had 2 Lockpicks and now both are gone. Is there any wear?

Yes, those are upgrades. I see you don't upgrade your ship(s) and I'm surprised.

I don't know if the lockpick is automatically being equipped but I think the other 2 got broken or stuck when you opened some chests.

The large cannon icon is to change your main batteries to bronze cannon and the small icon is to change your fore and aft chasers to bronze cannons.

The 2 cannon symbols are there and you can buy the upgrade in any shipyard, but it is a bit expensive.

Yup! The bigger the ship or the more cannons your ship has, the more expensive it'll be.

Indeed they can break and get stuck in the lock. If I recall, I made the chance luck-dependent. Also, you will DEFINITELY not hurt yourself anymore.
If they are indeed useless, we should rebalance it. I didn't add them for nothing all those years ago....

Unfortunately, I have seen many simply lost and some chests were no longer open,
no chance to open this

Yeah, I hate it when lockpicks get stuck on chests. No other way to open it. That's why I'm just using my knife now when opening chests.
