    Wow. Just wow.

Not much to contribute to this thread except an Europa Barbarorum-inspired wallpaper I made a couple of years ago (the soldier is pencil-drawn, rest was made with GIMP):

Here's a really quick sketch of a Norfolk pilot schooner I did. All I had with me at the time was a mechanical pencil and a ruler.
Captain Armstrong's USS Essex model. I added the sails, set them correctly, and modified the rigging to emulate foul-weather preparations- T'gallant masts housed, mizzensail gaff and boom lowered, reefed sails, cro'jack yard lowered, etc. I then placed it in a Maya storm render.

    Some scrimshaw I've done:
    Prince de Neufchatel:

Line from "Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner":

    Quote from Tennyson's "The Revenge"

    More later.

And while I'm here, a portrait of the schooner Onkahye, designed by Robert Livingston Stevens. Its underwater hull is extremely interesting and unconventional- I'd recommend Googling her plans.

Smileys are not for spoilers. They like the fresh air, and being out in the open. The spoiler is not their natural habitat.
