But you know you can eat them. They taste very good if cooked properly and are very high in protein.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
The infestation may be so fast that you don't have time to cook 'em and have to just start shoving them into your mouth. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sick.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eww" border="0" alt="sick.gif" />

Well I understand they taste very good that way. Just have to get past the juices. However, the jucies make them go down easy. I would suggest you put some hot sauce on them first, that way they taste just like chicken. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

I think along with the hot sauce, and as your scooping them off of the floor and pouring them into your mouth, you would have to get past the movements of the tiny legs on your tongue and form a soothing mental image in your mind as you swallow the wriggling insects and feel their squirming all the way down your esophagus. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/8q.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":8q" border="0" alt="8q.gif" />

Not if its wriggling around in the ketchup though. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sick.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eww" border="0" alt="sick.gif" />

Well look at it this way. The cockroach will be giving your tongue a massage prior to being swallowed. You can't ask for more that that can you. If no massage is wanted, then one quick chomp should do the trick.

But a quick chomp could produce some of that white pussy material you see when you step on one. So its very hard to get that image out of your head as your chewing on your cockroach, even if its lathered in ketchup. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sick.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eww" border="0" alt="sick.gif" />

That is true, but that white liquid is what makes the cockroach go down quickly. However, if you swallow it too quickly you will miss out on the pleasing taste and will want to try another, and another, etc. After awhile the crunching sound will get to you and force you to stop. Hopefully, before that happens you should will be full. Remember the old saying, "Yummy in the tummy."

Seeing the puss spill out of a cockroach that has been stepped on it is hard to fathom that it would be pleasant tasting and therein lies the problem. You have to convince the brain that the warm feeling in your mouth as your biting on the cockroach is not that white pussy pasty material that would immediately start the muscles in your throat to contract in anticipation of forcing the material out of your mouth. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sick.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eww" border="0" alt="sick.gif" /> This could be quite a problem, for even though it may be as tasty as you say Meigger, convincing yourself and getting over that initial barrier of actually going so far as to put the wriggling creature in your mouth and biting down on it may be far to much for some to overcome. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />
I liken it to taking that first step into the ocean, do you just run and dive in and get it over with right away, or do you slowly immerse yourself? Those who slowly immerse themselves may never experience the "Yummy in the Tummy" pleasure that the true cockroach eater enjoys on a daily basis. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

I am in total agreement with you. Those reality show people have nothing on us. We just have to get Morgan on board.

Right. Morgan I'm sure will see our point of view in due time if he doesn't now. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

I guess if he doesn't see our point of view we will just have to convince him. We can do that my truely explaining our positions in a language he will understand. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />

I think Morgan is over in the corner spewing his guts out like most of us reading this thread... <img src="http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a144/b4lazarus/barfing.gif" border="0" class="linked-image" />

<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/24.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rofl" border="0" alt="24.gif" /> That explains where he's been all day. I do agree with you, Meigger, we must explain to Morgan in a language he can understand why he must come over to our point of view regarding these matters. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

I guess we will have to wait and see what Morgan has to say. If he did in fact eat too many cockroaches he may indeed be spewing his guts out. I hope he does not dehydrate.

That can be another danger, as the thick, pasty, white material from the cockroach replaces the fluids leaving your body as your wretching and then your emergency room bound. Perhaps we should start checking some hospitals in Morgan's hometown to see if he is in fact there with cockroach pasty fluid poisoning.

You bring up a good point. However, I would think something like that would make the local news, if not the international news. Haven't heard any thing like this happening. I just think Morgan is cooking up different versions of how to properly eat a cockroach. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

I believe your right, Meigger, certainly something like that would have made the news. We must then delve deeper into this matter to find the truth because Morgan has now been missing for two days, even if, I'm afraid, that it may cause Lazarus and others reading this thread to continue barfing. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sick.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eww" border="0" alt="sick.gif" />

Let them barf. A barf a day keeps the cockroaches coming their way. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" /> A good barf should always be followed by a couple of <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/beer2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":beer" border="0" alt="beer2.gif" /> . That takes the bad taste out of your mouth.
