True... But if they're going to do it MP I'd like the option of SP...
Just a small note about MMORPG's - it seemed that EVERY game developer at E3 had one coming up. So the gaming industry is ON this fad, and quite intent on milking it for all it's worth... I just wonder about such a serious glut on the market with MMORPG's. Are there really that many gamers out there that like this (I mean, I know there are, for a few games, but when there are HUNDREDS of online multiplayer games?)? Maybe holding back on the multiplayer aspect is a good thing...
You have to think, too, that Pirates! is a game not only for gamers, but for "old fart" (pardon the expression - which I resemble, LOL!) gamers who played Pirates on their original Atari...
Speaking for myself only, I just don't see me spending much time on a MMORPG... Kids who don't have a "life" yet (aside from school), who don't have a job and need that paycheck to pay the rent, well they have large chunks of time to spend playing these games online - and probably someone else to pay for them if there's a subscription price (and there will be, or what's the point?). Not me. It's enough I pay for my internet connection and have bought my own (expensive) computer with money I earned... It's great if you have someone else paying for your computer and your internet connection AND the MMORPG subscription, but I personally can't afford (multiple?) subscriptions to MMORPG's along with all the other bills I have to pay.
I will buy the single player game and play it when I can find a few free minutes... Which in a freelancer's life is NOT SCHEDULED. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
