Which Ship?

Judgeing by the looks, which ship?

I really cant decide, so please help me out a bit.
I need a ship, and it has come down to this:
Galeon, Fregate or the Xebec.
Now I’m not the pirate type of sailor (anymore) and I what I want is a fast, manuvable and most of all - a beautiful ship!
(forget the first two - those are tweakable)

I used to sail the Xebec - but it's to darn small and it dosent even have room for a cabin!
Now the Galeon is a nice ship! Truely! It's comfy, and I like walking on the deck. On the other hand, the Fregate is nice too and it's sleak (<spelling?)
And I think it sounds better really, Fregate, my Fregate...

Now one thing that im REALLY missing, is pictures! I know that the textures differ from nationality, so isent there a site out there that has like a "`ship-table`" with pictures of the different ships and their nationality?
 
I prefer my Xebec CT (Pirate version). Sails fast, turns fast, and holds just enough crew to satisfy my needs. Back her up with a frigate or two for cargo purposes, and you're good to go. I personally use two Manowar MMs as tag alongs though for when I need to the muscle. The Xebec comes in handy when you get jumped by someone too because it can zig and zag between everyone and keep the enemy occupied while your support ships pound the living snot out of them.

But states are tweable, what I need to know is which is the prettyest
I was hoping there where a place to find screenshots of the different ships and textures...

Judging by looks, I love the deck of the Galleon! It feels the most 3 dimentional and is the most interesting to wander about on! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />
 
yea u see thats exactly my point! I LOVE the deck on the Galleon and I LOVE the looks/name of the frigate!
I seriosly CANT decide! I've checked the textures with Rexman and decided which suit what ship best...
I'd like to look at little closer on the "Satinist" - Skull dos that gm viewer of yours also show textures?

Now the ship is gonna be named "Legacy" and should really look fast, the Frigate lives up to that, but the deck on that galleon... A way to "thumb through" all the ships and what they look like is to use the "GMViewer" utility. You can get it from this link in the Wiki:

Besides, I don't tweak them anymore than they already are. A Galleon or Frigate with the speed and maneuveribility of a Xebec would just be too unrealistically ridiculous for me.

Well, It now totally stands between the Frigate and the Galleon.
About the textures... well I've just finished the painting on a Galleon, took the best of all ships and pastet em on the english galleon... looks nice, allthough I THINK I've used Cats or some others textures, but I'll upload a pic once I get my own computer working again <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_eek.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock:" border="0" alt="icon_eek.gif" />
But even after my own textures, I still can't decide!
Do yo know any famouse battle or movie where a Galleon was used?
(exept for Cortez and Columbus maybe...)
I need some background!
(this is REALLY getting on me nerves..!
 
Frigate MM, it is fast, maneuverable and beautiful. Or a Light Frigate, wich has the cargo space of a Frigate, the crew capacity of a frigate but it's a corvette. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
Oh! I love Xebec BR. the prettiest one imo is fast schooner:)

You, know, I have a Black and Gold French design battleship now that can turn on a dime, I did the thing at the church where you can `re-distribute` your skills and put sailing to 10, took Speed, Manuverabillity, and Sea Wolf!

What do you like about the Xebec? I´ve captured one (don´t know which one) and found out that it takes the whole pacific to turn it around. Barque, Sloop and Lugger all turned way faster, though I have to admit that I haven´t tried anything else but those mentioned. So far, the Barque is my favourite.
 
Ahoy there! I personally prefer the Battleship,it has all the nice power i want,and it can sink'em with just a few rounds!and also it's really beautiful,so,give it a try!
