So did you find him? You only get the guy after being arrested while following the main storyline, after the first bar encounter with Danielle... when poor Ralph Fawn buys the brig... sniff.

When I finally figured out where he was, I had one of these kinds of moments:

There's a new quest in the Build for Edgar Atwood and his liver, so far I haven't been able to get thru it with Atwood intact.

Regarding Ralph Fawn, one time I was able to kill all of the soldiers before they could get to Ralph, but I guess the shock was too much for the old guy, too many pork rinds get us all in the end. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

I love buying one of my men that outfit to wear... He's just a `great-looking` old salt...

My recent sweep through the main quest found me picking up Nigel Blythe to run that end of his side quest - but he never absconded with the ship I set him up on, and THEN he had the nerve to get sunk when I took on the English fleet at Greenford. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Oh well, I picked up a nice battleship in his place, I suppose that was more than a fair trade for the little galeoth he was sailing. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Crummy Nigel. I'll never forgive him for the time I let him kill that other guy, then when I paid him his $300 to join me, he just stood there.

Oh, and I hate Clare Larouse's guts. His quest is so easy to screw up... Last time I played, I marched right into the IM tavern and shot him, out of spite.

Smithee, you have probably figured it out already, but it sounds like you had some officers with you when you came upon Nighel Blythe. Nigel and Artois have difficulties joining the party when you have officers. (They're shy.)

I managed to finish the "Clair Laroose is on the loose" quest, but I may have to rethink the Edgar Atwood one, I have held off playing this quest so long that when he gets into the tavern fight he gets killed on the first strike and I can't move fast enough to save him..
