I prowl the Spanish Main... Cumana, Cartagena etc. I usually start a cruise in St Kitts or that area, then head south towards Trinidad and all down the Spanish Main, stopping in Curacao to sell off loot at good price. Then I head diagonally north east back towards St Kitts. It's easier to sail in that direction rather than due east. If my crew is swimming in gold enough, they'll usually accept a run all the way back from Curacao to St. Kitts. If they are too ticked by the time I get there, I divide the plunder. Rinse and repeat <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

LIke the other guy, I start from Port Royale or Nevis, then rove the Gulf of Mexico. If I played the game I would target the Spanish, due to they are rich and vulnerable. If I run out of Spanish to take, I'll go for French. I want to keep the English behind me because of their protective Navy.

I usually go to the southern spanish colonies. I take out as many ships as possible and then I start saking the colonies and setting new governors. So I can stay down there for a loong while not stopping in any spanish city for food or trade.
