Need Help What causes ship value of zero?

Hi, ive just started a new game. i managed to capture a ship (dont ask how). I took it back to the shipyard to sell. but it is worth zero! is this intended?



Ive checked the ship cost. its set to be worth over 90000.

your first ship is the one you steal in the harbour: her value is 0 by default. After your battle, you probably clik on the "swapship" option and let your first ship sink. So, unfortunately, this one worth 0, as it's still your "first ship"

ahh, im playing gof 1.2 so whatever ship i start with is worth zero. So if i sell my first ship does that mean that whatever ship i have after that would be dealt with normally?

i guess so, that's what happened for me. Instead of swapping ships, i just brought back both of them and sold the worthy one.
