Need Help Way to Skip Intro Mission

So eager to get playing the game but the intro missions at the plantation are so tedious....

What "intro missions"? You mean the missions you get from the governor, such as finding the leader of a gang or so? You know, you don't need to do these missions, you can sail right away. If you need a letter of marque, you can always buy one from a diplomat when you are at a higher level. Just start taking missions from the store owners and delivering cargo, with the money, hire crew, try capturing better ships, and from there, you are already set on the way to conquer the world.

I was just talking about the running around the plantation when you first get transported to the new world. Tedious but will just have to tough it out to get into the game. Looking forward to the main game!

If I recall, only Peter Blood has that opening. Just choose a different starting character.

Hm, I never actually played with Peter Blood (never liked the character layout), what is so different about it, besides the beginning? Does the game story itself changes much?

Only the beginning/tutorial changes if i recall

but at the end of that quest line you get very powerful frigate which you can basically use for whole game. It's very fast, has 54 cannons, huge cargo hold, lots of crew.

So then, playing the intro is the price you pay in order to get the frigate instead of a Ketch like with other characters.

That sounds great, anyone knows how could I mod to play that beginning with any char, not just that ridiculous Peter Blood?
