I built the stern to the plans of the USS President, with a few asthetic tweaks the headrails are built from the original plans of the class, but the middle rail had to be cut short at its aft part because the bow chase gunport was put in. This would've happened on the real ships of this class anyway (they all had gunports like this cut into their bows at some point in their careers) so I don't really see it as unrealistic.
Armada, I do have a quick question. I was thinking of changing the angle of the bowsprit to fit the angle shown in the plans of the USS President. (it is closer to horizontal) Would this create problems with locators? by the way I really like how you broke the bowsprit into two interlocking parts for when it is shot away, it should look alot better than having separate mast stumps enclosed within the mast
