Hmm... I never had trouble with dancing after 1 hour of gameplay, even when playing swashbuckler dancing is something that really works. It's all about listening to the music and getting used to the patterns and then the chicks are all yours.

And no offense but doing everything with the pause button kills it all. You can do almost everything with the pause button, it's just not fun.

It's good you don't get offended there StarEye, cuz this fellow seems to be full of them. What a guy. How he lasted on these boards long enough to post 1004 messages without getting booted by a moderator is well beyond me.

Umm... pausing the game for every movement is more difficult than just reading the visual cues she gives. I just tried it and it's laborious and darn near impossible to get the spin moves on the one count. And the dances take FOREVER. Pretty hard to get a cleavage shot that way too and you can't really "super woo" her without spinning a bit.

Not really. It's easy to pause the game and still dance like Travolta in Dance Fever! It just takes practice. And you get to look at the cleavage. Of course I could live with out the cleavage. It's the gifts I want.

It always gets me when I see people maoning and groaning on a forum about how someone is playing a Single Player game on their computer. I can understand people being all pissy if they had bought the game for the person and thus wasted their money. But unless you bought the game for the person in question I think you ought to get off your high horse. Play YOUR game the way YOU want to and let the other person play his. Is that so hard to do?
 
Most people after this fight would just leave the forum i was trying to help someone people if you dont want to use the tip dont use it, but to be called a cheater... or my idea just pretty stupid is rather not needed. If sid meier didnt want the pause button to be used he wouldve disabled it, i dont think i remember a cheat with a pause button before.

But sigh take it anyway u want it use it or dont use it

I don't mind people doing it that way, I've been saying that all along. What I find strange is how people can't see how it's cheating. The developers are the ones who put cheats in the game, if you have a game where you're supposed to start with only 10.000 cash or something, but you can cheat by writing "gimmemore", isn't that cheating either, since the developer made it possible?

Still, I don't give a damn really, if you cheat or don't. I look at it as cheating, and if you're cheating - normal logic implies that you are A cheater. Some think that's bad, some don't mind. I don't care what other do, but I won't do it.

And PRACTISING the use of the pause button? Why, wouldn't it just be easier to practise the actual dancing?

I never said it was cheating. What I DID say was that I found it laborious to use the pause key when with some practice you won't need to bother, the dancing is over with faster AND you get the goodies and the "money shot".

I don't care how anyone plays the game. Frankly, I am just happy that people are playing it and enjoying it. The more success it has, the better chance WE have for getting another sequel or more games of this type. If you have found a way to make the game more enjoyable for you, have at it! More power to you.

I don't care for Black Pearl's congeniality and I doubt he cares for mine. But as a general rule, I don't think ANYONE likes being told to Shut the F*ck Up, especially in what is for the most part, a `non-flame` infested, civil forum.

So, feel free to go back and read all my posts. I am a pretty good natured dude. I try to be tactful and polite when responding to things, though I DO have strong opinions. Nothing wrong with having strong opinions, as long as you can convey them in such a manner that is socially acceptable. Telling people to STFU repeatedly, and insulting people's avatars (though I'm unsure how Johnny Depp is any more superior than a walking piece of toast) is a little outside that realm if you ask me.

Then why do you keep posting about it? Are you a closet cheater and this is your way of compensating for it? One wonders.

I would have shut up a long time ago if others weren't accusing me for starting a crusade against cheaters. I've not once said that I hated people who cheated, or that I cared if anyone did. But in bahbahs mind I have, for some reason. I apologize for trying a little friendly joke (and not always relying on a dumb smily to let people know that I'm joking) when I first started out, because this has gone to the ridiculous extreme.

To conclude this unnecessary argument: I only gave my opinion on what this "pause" function is (cheating), and I stated that I wouldn't do it. I also stated I have no problem with other people doing it. How many times must I restate these things? Now if you excuse me, I've already spent too much time writing this post, and too little time playing Pirates! Let's all be friends, shall we?

Just accept every dance you'll be asked to, and play the game as you would normally do. Don't think about practising, just play, and when you that you do it right, keep doing it like that. Learn to look at the womans handmoves, don't ever look down on your keyboard. Don't even try using the mouse, 'cause - while I haven't tried using that - I can imagine it would be very hard to do. Listen to the music, try follow the beat inside your head or whatever you do to follow the beat. Try LIKING the music and enjoying yourself while you dance. It's really something that helps. If you're sitting there getting wound up for not doing it right, you won't be any better anyway. Keep calm.

Keeping an eye on the womans hands is extremely imponrtant. Memorize what the handmovements stands for, there IS a significant difference between left and left/back.
