looks like some seriously wierd game. i'm afraid it's going in the direction of severely disneyfied captain blood here. heck, they mentioned machine guns. on a pirate ship.

Nope, doesn't sound disneyfied. Sounds like a multi dimensional pirate ghost story, Morgan.

Pay attention here. The docks of one of the islands is made from an old OIL TANKER.

The Machine Guns Mentioned are from a disable BATTLESHIP. Sounds like there will be ships and characters from past, present and future in the game.

And from the sounds of it, you can modify your ship piecemeal depending on the stuff you've obtained from boarding actions.

i only skimmed the screenshots and their discriptions. still looks like a bit of a Revenant remake though.
