After checking these screenshots out and also a few videos I cant say anything but that the graphics are awesome...

At first when I saw them (when I heard about the game), I doubted that I would learn to like them. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" /> But they have really started to grow on me. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="8)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />

Yeah im also the same at first i didnt like them but i think they are quite good now, i think you just have to remember you play Pirates! for fun, not play it like its a simulation

What I like most with the graphics is that all the different things looks so good together.

Some games can have stuff that look 100% immersive while other stuff is 70% immersive. then it just dont look good together.

Everything in Pirates look 90% immersive and I think the result is great.

As far as I know, there are obviously going to be a governor in every city and a daughter in every city. Now, as for the graphics of these people, I guess more than a few (and I have the feeling that they have been working to create more...).

I understand that each town has a governor..

what I meant is how many different looks the governor has.

In original Pirates there were 3 different looks of the governors daughters while all governors looked the same.

You will be able to create custom skins for the governors and their daughters. This game is going to be sweet to begin with. But I can't imagine how cool it's going to be after the community really takes hold and adds a bunch of custom content.
