I think .......

Iv saw MMRPG s were they create WORLDS in the very sense of the word .

I dont think its something impossible that in the future we see a massive multiplayer in 3D brining to life the pirate era creating a fantastic comunity ! Imagine having all the world american continent to sail in and hundreds of colonial towns witch can be won and lost but players rerving their nations crowns or pirate leaders!

Voyage Century is a really good game for MMO and it is free to play and download too go to IGG.com and get it there!!!
But i am also going with Sid's Pirates the new one so far it beats AoP1 and 2.

Microprose Amiga version from 1980ies something.
Not that last Sid version with dancing, rainbow colours sails and other kids c... in it.

Easy answer. There is no best pirate game but the one accessible to you and where you're most comfortable living with. There.

I can't legally get a lot of games I wish to get due to mostly, the population's poor taste along with censors so I live with what I had bought years ago. Which is why the Build mod does everyone (myself included) a big favour. Why buy a new Storm engine game that delivers far less and costs more?

Also the "best" tends to be always the first in the genre you've tried. Despite whatever flaws, and lower technology level. Future titles just feel like they have ripped off from someone else... Or just don't feel right compared to the "good ol days".

That's why I can't stand today's automobiles (though I'm still too young to afford to drive, by local standards, I find that today's designs are way overweight and inefficient).
