<img src="http://www.piratesahoy.net/images/stories/thagarr/tales_of_monkey_island_1.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />TellTale games has released a new trailer for their upcoming release Tales of Monkey Island! The first chapter is scheduled for release July 7 and is entitled “Launch of the Screaming Narwhal!†The gameplay trailer shows that TellTale has kept Tales of Monkey Island's classic humor in tact! TellTale also made sure to note the inventory system and ability to combine items. The ability to combine items can raise the difficulty of the game quite a bit as players could be spending a lot of time combining items in order to get the desired effect. The game will launch first on the PC before making its way to WiiWare sometime in the near future. There are plans to release the entire series on a disc after all the episodes have been digitally released. A demo will also be hitting the PC around the time of the first episode’s release.
