So I've recently re-installed Age of Pirates and the Super Mod, and then I came across some of the new dialog added in. I don't think it's any great secret that most of them were poorly written and, sometimes, immature (see: brothel). So I've just done a little work and re-wrote them. I'm not done going through all the files yet, but thus far I've fixed up the dialog in the brothel and one of the dialog quests (you just listen to a drunkard's story). The dialog quest story didn't make much sense before, nor did I find it too interesting, so now it's about a cursed ship called The Siren. It's about the same length, so I didn't shorten it much. Here's a little snippet:
"The Siren? The legendary warship?"
"The very same! The ship which mutinied it's captain. The ship which carried a governor's daughter, and a crew that devised plans of ransom. Of course, they had their way with her first. She had been pregnant with child, but the trauma had caused her to lose the babe, and the blood of the stillborn stained the planks of the cabin."
I hope that sounds good, and I hope the re-writes are appreciated. It's just strange to play the game and have most of the dialog be fairly well written, and then to come across something which you can barely make any sense of. The rapidshare links are below.

To install, just extract and overwrite the files to the "Age of Pirates - Caribbean Tales\program\dialogs\english" folder.
Edit: I updated the dialog quest a little bit, so if you've already downloaded it you may want to re-download it.
Edit: I fixed the waitress dialog in the taverns.
