Some ships disappear

Hey all. Just got the game. It is awsome. One thing, I notice that sometimes ships disappear and all you can see are the crew, etc... Any ideas of why this is going on? Thanks!

Hmmm, I noticed that happen too, on occasion, when betatesting. I thought it was because the ship was sinking... Nope lol. I captured Cap'n Morgen's frigate and it was seethrough until I reloaded a save that I did right after I captured it. It works now though.
