I remember to look at a site posted here that present some old ship hull plan.... but can't find the adress...

Anyone ca help? Thanks...
 
HA!, i've been wrking on this for a while, what type of ship you looking for. Ive got a few but they are generally for larger ships. Ill upload one if you just need any type of ship though
 
Thanks a lot! But it was like an old archive from someting like Holland. The was not particular ships, only hull plans. I'm looking for small ships like cutter, sloop or anything like those one... like smuggling ships.

The site I was wondering about had lots of old plans ... and I'm sure it was not an english site.

Keith : If you can find me some cutter, schooner and sloop kind of ships... or sending me an adress, i'll appreciate a lot.

When I'll be on my other computer, i'll send you one of the plan from the site I D/L some months ago...

You should also check modeling sites, they have lots of plans--for the actual ship, and the modeler then makes small-scale versions I guess.

Heres a schooner to keep you going, ive actually got heaps of drawings now.

Hang a day or so im working out how best to put all of them up in the forum for everyone to use

Thanks alot, i'm looking through this because I'm currently building a ship (25' BAltime Clipper) to learn sailing but with friends we look to build a bigger one in a relatively short time.

Keith, that is one /funny/ schooner...lug or junk rigged but with a traditional jib. First time I've ever seen /that/ rig...
Maybe somebody stuck a bowsprit and jib on a cat schooner? I know there are some cat schooners that have that kind of rig...

well... there is a lot of the ships where there aren't enough data to build a model from, but if you search on danish ships only, there should be atleast 300-400 ships spanning from gunboats to 2nd rate ships of the line

I'll search all those links for a while and I'll send you pics when I'll have a complete rigging on my ship... for now the hull is almost complete... we hope to be sailing in a moth or so.

I just remember that the site I'm searching for give the plans in .xls ... maybe it can help!
