Need Help Ship Class on Icons at Sea

I’m pretty sure the ship class used to be on the icons at sea. Did they walk the plank?

I’m trying to get them working but I can’t find what even controls the icons in the first place.

They were included in the texture files, not added through code.
If I recall, it was @Armada who took them out.

The ship classifications changed far too often which resulted in those icons basically always being wrong.
But what isn't there cannot be wrong, so that is why they've been removed.
Same reason why the game Loading screens don't mention town names anymore.

Oh, I see. Well surely the class can be put back just the same way it is on other icons?

In the Battle Interface? You're welcome to try. Nobody ever did give it a proper shot.
It may indeed be possible, though it sounds potentially quite difficult to pull off.
Not sure it'd be worth the trouble.

Depends on how much trouble it is, I might prefer it to trying using my scope when I can’t see past my sails.
