Did anyone played Serious Sam I and II. It has been developed by Croteam ( from Croatia ) and very popular in Germany and UK. First player shooting game with player and enemy characters making funny comments ( serious ).

It is pure shooting fun without much thinking.

Anyways, thought only to mention this one ( it is not a payed ad <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" /> )

Oh, yes, here is the link: <a href="http://www.serioussam2.com/sam_home.html" target="_blank">http://www.serioussam2.com/sam_home.html</a>

Never played it but it looks interesting. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/guns.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":2guns" border="0" alt="guns.gif" /> That zombie didn't have a chance. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

I played the Second Encounter for months - "awesome game" is all I can say! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

Yeah, I played in the God mod few times, I had a good time.

Croteam started as a garage team, for fun and hobby. Now, they are very good and experienced, currently with 2 more new games on their way.

Really? Haven't really heard about them since... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

That's the way it probably begins for most of these game designers. The good ones make it. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

On their site there`s no new updates, but those of the last year ( 2006 ), but no stopping for them <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

Old Salt: yep, you`re right. Many of today`s great companies started like a garage groups, good example is YouTube

I've finished The First Encounter two or three times <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> never got to finishing The Second Encounter and not to mention SS2.
