I was pondering the subject of making triple guns on the dutchman that actually move... I was considering using an invisible windmill plopped onto a ship via locators, with the windmill sail replaced by triple guns. Think it'll work?

You will have to use a dump site like Photobucket (It is free), or some such other site, to upload pictures to PA. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
 
I don't think it will work, because there is no animation file for a windmill in POTC, maybe you could try to take the animation for it out of AOP.

Heheh. Turns out there IS a windmill in POTC after all. I shall try and see whether or not my idea works <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

EDIT: Gah. How does that thing move? I can't find the .an file. Or am I looking for some other type of file? I labeled the locator on the ship exactly the way it was labeled on land... maybe that could be the problem. The original locator group was "Upgrades", and I also tried "geometry" in place of that. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ko" border="0" alt="ko.gif" />
 
The Flying Dutchman has a galleon icon. It also is a galleon only another skin, a much cooler skin! The real dutchman has more cannons i believe and the cannons are not always on the right place there but its cool!

Yes, it is custom. BUT cant-get-onto-ftp-- <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> I'll try something else.
 
Ok, actually, I was able to upload it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" /> after doing a few things. Its on the FTP now, but all that is there are the textures and the model itself, nothing to add it to the tailor list or anything like that..
 
We know the game does support animation, but I doubt we can animate parts of ships. You can try, but don't count on it working.
