Scars, Peglegs, Eypatches and Hooks! What gives!!

I want to wear an eypatch as I grow older, or get a pegleg, or a scar maybe even a tatoo. I am a pirate right? Correct, but my pirate looks just like your pirate.


Wouldnt it be cool if, after every fight there was a 1% chance you got some kind of personal scar/pegleg/hook/eyepatch? it wouldnt affect you in gameplay, but it sure would be cool.

Oh yeah, this game is FULL of Hollywood stereotyoes, and makes no "bones" about it. It's swashbuckling goodness!

But, the barkeep does actually mention a parrot from time to time.

Yeah, I think it would be cool to be able to customize your appearance more. Have different body sizes and clothes to choose from and a bunch of hair styles and faces etc...

GTA3 SA has already done it

For all you asking for an aging process, tattoos, weight gain etc etc, the above game has all of that in it and it looks cool. I used this as an example of one game already doing this.

Mabye SM might make Pirates II and include these requests eh? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

GTA SA needs a pirate mod. All they need to do, is give C.J. a tri corner hat. And make it so he can deck his cars out with sails, and a crows nest. Maybe replace his hand gun, with a hand held cannon. This my friends, would be the best game ever.

Yep that would be awesome, love the freedom to do whatever you like in GTA3 SA, make em fat, skinny, get tats, don't get tats, get a haircut and the the list goes on. Funny that yall mention GTA. Whenver I am trying to explain Pirates! to my buddies I just tell them its like GTA but with pirates! and they think that is pretty cool.

That game is great. But customieing a pirate would be great. A great coat, a wooden leg, a bird on his shoulder would be nice. I hope a freak will be able to make a patch which allows me to create my own pirate. Selecting hair type, length, eye "decoration" and that stuff!. My hero looks like one of that creepy Hollywood superheroes <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Any freaks around? hehe!
