Can this be changed in the middle of a game or do I have to start a new game?

Also is there ANY way at all to buy bombs in a store and keep real cannons mod?
I cant play with cannons that can shoot diagonally and I miss using bombs in the stock game when I just wanna annihilate
a ship. I know I can steal some from a fort but that isn't what I want.
I want stores to carry bombs.
Please add a toggle or something so I can buy bombs and keep real cannons mod.
I want this more than anything else.


I know bombs are not historical or realistic but I don't care.
I play arcade mode because I want to have fun.
Also I don't wanna just increase cannonball damage.
 
The salary multiplier can be changed in advanced options. Save your game, change what you want, load, and play.
 
I think the Advanced Options don't take effect until you play a new game.

You can sometimes steal some bombs from forts by attacking them from land.

I know that, but I want to be able to buy them.
Anywhere. In bulk lol.
Is there like some line of code i can edit
that puts them back in stores?
 
Why buy them? You can just walk into a fort and get them if you meet the proper person. Of course you could also lose your Letter of Marque with that country too.

Convenience? And ability to buy in bulk.

Can I reenable bombs for sale without disabling real cannons mod?
 
Not sure where in the code this got removed, they were over-powered iirc(which is why they were removed). You could try using cheatmode(see the FAQ - pinned thread at top of forum), that might be an easier way to get bombs?
