Heh, yeah, that happened to me too, a couple of times. But you keep on buying those maps, the treasures get better - depending upon whose treasure it is you are looking to find. Morgan's treasure is BIG!!! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

I found Morgans treasure and it was only 10,000 pieces.. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dp_nogd.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ng" border="0" alt="dp_nogd.gif" />

Still, I think in terms of wealth points that can be accumulated it's pretty easy to max out without the need of 100,000 jackpots from the silver train of olde.
 
I´m glad that it wasn´t my money but the crews money what I invest in tavern for all these treasurecards. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> Sailling for month could be boring. Therefore the crew can dig a bit to strength their muscles and have something do to in their spare time. Some people think these digging for treasures could raise the crew morale. All liors if you ask me.

they might be able to increase the size of the rewards in the next patch, (wishful thinking eh)?

the size of the treasure is directly related to the ranking of the pirate in the top 10 list. therefore, i've stated this before, find the treasure before you defeat the pirate cuz his treasure is smaller once defeated as he moves down in rank.
