retrieving goods from the sea

another issue is that when i sink a ship, sometimes the goods do not get picked up even if i sail over the goods. wondering if success is based on ur grappling skill. any thoughts?

Do you have space in your hold? If not, you won't pick up the goods, though there should be a message on screen telling you that you could not pick up the goods because the hold was full.

yeah my hold has plenty of space, the ship im sailing is the RN_Neptunis and sometimes i have to sail over the goods twice, although its not always this happens

Then I don't know. I can't see anything related to skills in the code to pick up goods.
