Retexturing Havana

no idea, still have to think about that. I can't get it very close to the coastline, but it is now still close to the coast, and out of range of the pirates.
 
I only need to know HOW to let the game recognize it as a new town, now it is just a shore without name. Help is appreciated!

About quest in Santiago : Well, in the Bartolomeu´quest after leaving Havana, you need to find someone in Santiago (you only need to talk to a fisherman in the Santiago port and after meeting someone in the outskirts of the city). About the changes in my quest, i will send you the files as soon as possible.

About Havana, will you add some buildings and stuff thanks to the building set ?

If yes, could you create a new model ? : the gallows.

Thank you, I can't make a model from scratch but I think I could use a gibbet CCC made with a dead skeleton add it, maybe I can make such a gallow (but in front of a church? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />)

First I want to finish the Nevis/Charlestown mod. It is almost finished only I have al little problem with letting it be recognized as a town (name doesn't show up, not with go-to or on worldmap.
 
it wouldn't really make sense to have a gallows <u>with a corpse on it</u> in town. that would be only done in port as an example for pirates. besides, imagine the stench! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sick.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eww" border="0" alt="sick.gif" />

About the gibbet, i let you choose the location (even in front of the church <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/danse1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dance" border="0" alt="danse1.gif" /> ).
About Nevis/Charlestown mod, unfortunately i can't help you. I don't know how is it possible to solve the problem.

To Morgan Terror:

Despite the gibbet is not perfect, i think it will "create" a special atmosphere. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
 
don't get me wrong though, i've got nothing against a gibbet, even in front of the church for your quest, but having a corpse still hanging there doesn't really make any sense.
 
Morgan Terror, often the corpse were kepted on the gallows, until they drop from itself, to make an exemple to the population.
But what could be good - although it's not so easy - would be to have the squeletons hanging being an extra model, those you can add and remove ingame with a simple piece of code (add geometrical to location).

When I was on vacation I continued to mod (because the first week there only was rain, and I didn't have any friends there, which changed, the last 1,5 weeks I was not even NEAR the laptop, too busy with hanging out with me vacation friends)

Looks nice. I don't immediately see what is different, but I think you can take that as a compliment: It looks completely convincing. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" />
 
Havana 1.2

Since my previous version was took out of filefront I made a new version, which is slightly different in texture (only in port) And is more complete, it contains the fix of Bartolomeu's quest. You can read the other features here:

i can see the difference. it's very subtle, but certainly gives it a whole different look if you look closely.
 
I think that the towns came out wel, maybe Philipsburg better than Marigot, but I like them. If you download the mod, you can see that I remodelled Philipsburg a bit.
 
BTW: I saw a screenshot of a Dutch townhall with a nice Dutch logo on it on your Photobucket. Is that released anywhere? That looked pretty much awesome... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />
