removable danielle

i know this was covered a while ago but i cant seem to find it - can anyone help remind me as to how to make danielle a removable character?

I think its after you beat the game that you have more flexibility with her chracter.

Well, you do need her to complete the main quest, but if you're not concerned with that, here is a way to do it:

Acquire a ship that you intend to sell. Whoever you put as captain will return to you when you sell the ship at the shipyard, but while you STILL HAVE THE SHIP - assign Danielle (or any other quest officer you wish to get rid of) to it as a second officer. When you go to the shipyard and sell the ship, she or any of the other officers besides the captain, will disappear and you will be done with them. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="yes.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

I seem to remeber doing that accidently with Edgar Attwood and he reappeared in my passenger list a few saves and a couple of islands later.
