Having your companions drowning the ships while boarding is not the best approach. CBS launchs the boarding screen used in the main char abordages every time one of your companions boards a ship.

Companion Boarding Screen (CBS)

Your companions can seize and loot boarded ships like in the main char boardings

Prize officers are selected from the main char officers list.

CBS includes "Victuals for Both Ships" tweak.

This tweak replaces the files:

Program\INTERFACE\transfer_main.c
Program\scripts\companions.c
RESOURCE\INI\interfaces\transfer_main.ini

Search "BUHO" to locate the changes.

All the original files included in the packet, renamed as originalname____original.ext.

Installation: drop the "Program" and "RESOURCES" folder in your current COAS root folder.

Uninstall (revert): drop the "Program" and "RESOURCES" folder from the uninstaller pack in your current COAS root folder.

The first post have a link to an uninstaller packet (reversion to GOF 1.1). Revert back and report here if any problem pops up.


I beg you excuses, mates. The interface is multi-use ("normal" boarding, ship transfers and now companion boarding) and it is easy to forget something while checking all the possible combinations (which are like 19).

If there are still bugs I'll start considering to make an independent interface for CBS (a helluva work :?) .
