Re-introduction & greetings! (Question too)

Ahoy everyone,
It's been a looooong time since I've frequented this fine port, or booted up POTC for that matter. I used to drop anchor here often back in the day...even designed some icons for this site at one point. I'm thrilled to see this site still up and running and hope you're all doing well.
I confess I've been lurking a bit, reading about all the fine work you've done on the Build Mod and it has inspired me to reinstall POTC and give it a go! Just wanted to add that as an Art Director with graphic design/art/illustration experience, I'd be honored to help out with the mods going forward, in any way that I can. (Concept art, skins, etc)

One quick question, I'm wondering if the player icon can be swapped out in POTC. You know the little head shot that appears next to your health bars, etc? If I'm gonna make a custom char, I'd want to be able to swap that out too.

The player icon depends on the skin of your character.
You'll always have the appropriate icon, unless there's none available.
What modpack version are you using at the moment?
Have you tried visiting the tailor's shops?
What work did you do for the mod before?

I just installed the Build Mod 13...haven't had time to fire it up yet.
I didn't work on the mod before, I had designed some graphics for the PiratesAhoy site.
