Proposal for type names of ships in PotC

Hello.

Recently some new ship classes were introduced in PotC by Yo ho ho, Seb, Sea Norris, Thomas the Terror, Razor, Damski62 (to name some of people; I'm sorry everyone I missed). Therefore, the issue of giving those ships some appropriate name for their look and properties appeared. Heavy Trader (by Yo ho ho) -> War Galleon (plus change of her properties to be a warship; 52 guns is a bit much for a trader ship)
"De Seven Provincien", "Neptune" (by Yo ho ho) -> Heavy Lineship
Lugger (by Seb) -> Merchant Lugger or Trade Lugger
Schooner (by Seb) -> Hooker or Howker
Frigate (by Seb) -> Escalated Frigate
Sloop (by Seb) -> Navy Sloop
British Frigate [Surprise] (model made and skinned by Inzane) -> Fast Frigate (because "British Frigate" is Thomas the Terror reskin of frigate with RN color scheme)
GalleonC3 (by Razor) -> 30 Gun Galleon (galleon, but different than "standard" Galleon)
Sirius (by Yo ho ho) -> ?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

What is your opinions, thoughts and suggestions in this matter? I believe I was never good in naming of ship types.

For my Horatio quest I made a new ship with 2 different models (Pinnace3_50 + WhiteWallerFrig) and named the Pinnace: Pinnace OTL(Pinnace Of The Line) it's a 54 gun pinnace perhaps it will be a good name for the Pinnace you mention.

SIRIUS - Fast Galeone
BATAVIA - Eastindiaman
ARABELLASHIP - Heavy Trader (Dutch/French texture)
MORDAUNT/modified Arabella - Light Lineship (Trader/English texture)
7 PROVINCIEN - Warship2
NEPTUN - Warship3

the problem we have is that in the game a specific ship is a single type. in reality, a single ship type is a wide array of ships.

the "new" Provincien has now Cabintowers and is the Pinnace2 Model
Neptun is Pinnace1 model
and the Sirius is a gift from VCO

Those ships of Seb are his AoP ship reskins, right?

I think there should no longer be any national references in the ship type. So no more "British Frigate" and such. I think all ships with the same model and almost the same statistics should have the same ship type name. Ships with a different model but generally the same statistics should then have a slightly different name, if possible, unless the differences betweed the models are hardly noticeable (eg. only different figurehead).
