post build 12 question thread

I've been playing a game for about 3 days now, and I am having <b>more fun </b> because its <b>more challenging. </b> I started out as an aprentice but switched my class 6 lugger with a class 2 frigate right in the begining. Sinking ships with a class 2 compared to a class 6 takes away alot of experiance points. I've only made it to a Level 20 Character so far and it has been fun!!! In previous games I would have had a Level +60 Character already with all the ships I captured/sunk <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":keith" border="0" alt="keith.gif" />

To Pieter: I think starting out as an apprentice can be more difficult then the higher levels if you make it that way. In swordfights as an aprentice I was only getting like 50 exp. points for each guy I killed. At Jorneyman or Adventurer I get like 3x that amount <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/poet.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hmm" border="0" alt="poet.gif" />

I can live with the inflation, skill caps, and stupid sword play so long as the game remains challenging. In my games from now on I think I will do the same as above and only increase the difficulty at levels 20, 40, and 60. This should help keep the game fun <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />
