Well, I must admit that I am a sucker for eyecandy, and eyecandy is very easy to produce with the Crysis engine. A brief estimate on the number of kids wanting to make "the greatest mod EVAh!!11" with this engine HAVE to equal the number of people in the world drinking Carlsberg (sorry Heineken)
That said, these folks still seem to know what they are doing. They already proved once , they can get the job done. Also they hold a pretty mature forum attitude along with good documentations of their work so far, even though the SDK for the Cry2 engine is not out yet....

I studied the game-engine on youtube and I must admit, <a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=gm4aC-m0UWM" target="_blank">I´ve never seen anything like it</a>.
What do you folks think of this? Will they be able to make a solid singl-player AND multiplayer experience for people to download, and is it possible to make the maps large enough for a decent pirate archipelago like the one of PotC in an engine like that?
