Pirate Simulator

One minor detail which came to my attention after I spotted it in someone's signature picture...

Go to the <a href="http://www.galaxyproductions.net/piratesimulator/screenshots.html" target="_blank">Screenshots</a> section, scroll down to "Another detailed ship", take a look at the Union Jack on <a href="http://www.galaxyproductions.net/piratesimulator/EN%20(19).jpg" target="_blank">EN (19).jpg</a> and <a href="http://www.galaxyproductions.net/piratesimulator/EN%20(10).jpg" target="_blank">EN (10).jpg</a>. It's upside down - that's a distress signal!

The red St. Patrick's cross is correctly offset from the white St. Andrew's cross, but the thicker part of the white should be at the corner near the top of the staff. Those pictures show the thinner part of the white at the top.

The Union Flag in the corner of the Red Ensign in <a href="http://www.galaxyproductions.net/piratesimulator/EN%20(20).jpg" target="_blank">EN (20).jpg</a> is the right way round, although the wind seems to be doing interesting things - the Red Ensign is blowing one way, the pennant on the mizzen mast and all the sails are blowing the other way. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Here is how the flag on "EN (19).jpg" should look.

those flags are a bit odd. you would expect they would pay attention to such things.

Just and update from me. Patrick has shut down the site along with the public/ testers forum. Head to <a href="http://psmmods.com" target="_blank">http://psmmods.com</a> for general questions and news about the game. Until they reopen the site all news and information will be at PSMMODS.

Hi everyone. I have a question, I keep hearing all over about this "pirate simulator". I've found some things on Google describing about how it's a game in development by firaxis...

This has peeked my interested, but i have been unable to find anything else. I've come up with some old posts on these forums, which all point to galaxeyproductions.net but it seems like every link i see for that website doesn't come up with anything other then some page in German or something that i don't understand, It looks like a web hosting page... like the all the pages where taken down or something.

Are they still accepting alpha/beta tester signups? is there anywhere i can get more information about the game?

The game is nearing beta stage. There have been a few problems along the way and thats why the site is no longer there. They have also changed the company back to its old name of Creative Sparks. If you are looking for news updates on the game go to my site. Cyberops keeps everybody updated there until they put up a new site of their own.

PSMMODS went down yesterday due to hard drive failure on its server. My hosting company is trying to get it back up but said it may take a couple days cause the server lost 2 drives.
Update: They are in the process of replacing the drives and for those here that are also members of psmmods it should be back up within 48 hours.
